Hello Bill & Danny1  :)
Welcome  its good to see fresh members .
Truth is Bill theres little groups all over the place emerging & then disappearing but nevertheless intrest remains constant & reports from Ireland still keep getting reported to various organisations.
Get on-line & keep networking because you will build up strong reliable contacts & you will find local people emerge with similar interests.
The Eire UFON society & UFO society of Ireland have various field researchers etc but this research associations only just started in that direction so you could be just in time to get on board. :)

Hi Bill,

They is a few groups out there but as a lot of people are still very hesitant to report their experiences its hard to always get the full picture on sightings and experience that they had.

We here at UFOi.org are trying to bring like mined people together to build a database of sightings through the Lyra project, so far the response has been really good and we have built up an extensive database of sightings and locations that seem to have a higher concentrate of sightings.

Welcome to the site again and hope we can be of help.
